Cambridge Hack – Internet of Things
IoTUK are looking for startup and SME teams who would love to use their Internet of Things technology, their knowledge and their experience to create solutions to pressing real-world challenges.
They’ve been appointed by Digital Catapult to run IoT UK Challenger for the South of England. This hack and pitch event will set SMEs and start-ups four challenges in the arenas of transport, smart cities and health, with the over-arching theme of harnessing IoT to aid in producing solutions to the challenges.
Teams will take part to hone their ideas and skills, and for the visibility and exposure they can achieve for their companies, together with the possibility of applying their knowledge and products for larger clients or on a larger scale than might otherwise have been the case. There will be subject matter experts on hand to learn from, along with a panel of distinguished judges, who will be nominating winners for the prizes on offer!
The event starts at lunchtime on Monday September 17th at the Bradfield Centre on Cambridge Science park, and concludes at 4:00pm on Tuesday September 18th. There’s more detail, and applications must be made, here: https://iotuk.org.uk/iotuk-challenger-south/
